

ABOUT
Frank Mitchell is a professional photographer/videographer based in Washington, D.C. He attended Bowie State University, where
he studied computer graphics and received an associate degree
in computer engineering technology at Prince George's Community College.

Frank used to work as a graphics specialist and special events
photographer at the Newseum, a Washington, D.C.-based interactive museum of free expression that champions the five freedoms of the First Amendment.
His photography is a unique blend of design, creativity and art that has been published in The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, milb.com, voanews.com, and other national publications.
Frank works extensively with several local colleges and universities in the DMV including Howard University. He's photographed for Morgan State University and Coppin State University during the 2016 MEAC basketball and MEAC indoor track and field tournaments. He's worked with The George Washington University sports marketing department photographing collegiate athlete awards ceremonies and other programs.
Frank’s experience in sports photography is wide and diverse.
He was also a photographer for several roller derby leagues in the DMV. In 2015, he captured the Bowie Baysox’s game-clinching win in the 2015 Eastern League Championship Series.
